I don't believe it. The Central powers are holding their ground and advancing. Doom for us seems eminent we can't beat the Empire.

A majority of my comrades have died, the Germans make more weapons without any flaws. It seems this time man is the ultimate weapon and target. The blood speaks for it self.

I have definitely seen better days, and today is not one of those days. I left my brother's and sister's back home hopefully I will see again. I just wish this war would end now!

Lots of new recruits joined us in this godforsaken trench warfare.  My only goal is to make sure the gas and rotting bodies don't kill me. Lately it seems with every advance the Powers are getting a bigger edge over us.

I can smell the blood and human remains everywhere. It's nauseating and the scent is just as bad as the  poisonous gas released .

The newest arrivals have reignited my spark. I'm ready to begin fighting with my all my might  to make  it home and protect the live of others. The confusion in my head has died down, nothing else occupies my time but the win for the ALLIES!

With my attitude change the balance is slowly but surely tipping in our favor. If this keeps up no more of my brother's will die a horrible death. France will be victorious.

Finally a major victory was won yesterday! A year and now some concrete progress is happening The Central Powers had better look out, their tanks or aircrafts can't stop us.

A short day of rest from the front lines for me. The rest of my buddies have congratulated me on my performance and staying alive for so long. Now I will sleep for the first time in a year, knowing we will win this.
